Patwon Ki Haveli is a cluster of five magnificent havelis in Jaisalmer, famous for their stunning yellow sandstone carvings and architectural grandeur. Built between 1805 and 1860 by Guman Chand Patwa, a wealthy Jain merchant, and his sons, these havelis epitomize the opulence, craftsmanship, and artistic excellence of 19th-century Rajasthan.
The first haveli was built by Guman Chand Patwa for his family, and the remaining four were constructed for his sons over several decades. Despite being built at different times, all five havelis share a harmonious architectural style, blending Rajputana elegance with intricate design. Patwon Ki Haveli is considered the largest and first haveli of Jaisalmer.
